Note*
- This is needed when Two-Step Authentication is enabled on your account.
- This password only works once. If you wish to sign in again then a new password needs to be generated every time.
Log in to Outlook on a web browser
On the top right click on your account
Click on My Account
Click on Security info
Click on Add method
- On the drop-down select App password
- Click Add
- Enter a name for the password
- Click Next
The password generated is the password you’ll use to log in to the Outlook App on your computer
- Copy the password
- Click Done
Open the Outlook App on your computer
- Enter your email address
- Paste the previously generated password
- Click Remember my credentials
- Click OK
