Setting Store Closed Message on Panasonic Base Station
- Begin by selecting the "Wrench Icon."
- Enter the password to the base station. Some common passwords include:
- 12345
- Popeyes + Store Number (eg., Popeyes1, popeyes1, Pop1, pop1)
- RF default password: RFt@1989
- No password is needed, simply press "Login."
- Press the "Message" option.
- Select "Greeter Message."
- Select "Common."
- Activate the Greeter by switching it to the "ON" position. Ensure the volume is audible and the speaker destination is set to "ON".
- To save your changes, go back to the previous menu by pressing the "Back" button located on the lower left
- Select "Message."
- Create a new message in the next available slot.
- Give the greeter message a name for easy identification, such as "Closed Message" or "Closed."
- Initiate recording by selecting "REC."
- Put on a headset, then press the "P" button on the headset when ready to start recording. You can record a message of up to 20 seconds. Press the "P" button on the headset when you've finished recording or use the STOP button on the base station. You can preview the message and choose to keep or re-record it.
- Press "Yes" when you are satisfied with your message.
- Your recorded message will be visible in this menu.
- Go back to the previous menu by pressing the "Back" button located on the lower left
- From the Main Menu, Click “Store Settings”
- Go to "Store Hours."
- Set store hours to "AUTO," and select the closed message you recorded.
- Press "Set" to save your changes.
This will play the message to customers during hours when the restaurant is closed. The clock and store hours must be set correctly. This will set the message to play automatically whenever the restaurant is closed and a car approaches the drive-thru.
