- Download the latest version of the software at https://www.hikvision.com/en/support/download/software/ivms4200-series/
- Install the program and make sure on the installation wizard that ONLY "Basic Configuration" & "video" are selected for install
- When the iVMS-4200 first launches, it will prompt you for "Upgrade Detection". Select Enabled.
- On the "Super User" account creation, create your own local user and ensure Auto-Login is enabled:
- Super User Name: <Your Choice>
- Password: <Your Choice>
- Auto-Login: Enable
- On the "Password Protection" window input whatever you need to retrieve your password if you forget.
- When logged in and on the "Control Panel", go to the top right corner of the window and click on "Not Logged In" and a window will prompt you to enter "Hik-Connect". Select Yes.
- Log in to Hik-Connect using the same log-in you use on your phone to see cameras.
- After you log in, you can go to "Device Management" and see the stores shared with your user. (Stores shared with you are managed by Pelican QSR Solutions).
- To view the cameras, go back to "Control Panel" and go to "Main View" to see live footage or "Remote Playback " to view previous footage.
