HikVision DVR - Export Footage

• Recommended USB Size: 8 GB
• If long-time footage is needed, you will need a higher storage USB.

1. Insert the USB to the USB slot in front of the HikVision DVR.
   
2. Using the mouse for the HikVision DVR, right click anywhere on the screen to go to the log-in screen. 
   
3. After you log in to the store user, click on the Playback tab
   
4. On the playback page, select the cameras and the date of the footage you need to export.
   
5. Afterward, on the bottom left you will see a "Clip" icon that looks like a scissor. Click on the icon and then afterward, you will see the "Clip Time" icon that looks like a scissor in parenthesis. Click on it to show the "Start Time" and "End Time" window.
   
6. On the "Start Time" and "End Time" window, make sure to select the correct date and time for both the start time and the end time. Afterward, click on "Export"
   
7. "Path Settings" window will be on the screen and on "Device Name" select the USB you inserted and on the right, ensure to select AVI on the right. Afterward, on "Backup type", select "AVI" and click on "Ok" to start the export process
   
8. It could be instantaneous or it could take some time for it to export to the USB. Give it time for it to finish and then afterward, the footage will be on the USB. 
9. After you have your footage, please ensure to log off the user.
